What are CRNAs?

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) are masters and/or doctoral prepared Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.  CRNAs are an integral part of a patient’s medical team.  They can practice independently or work in collaboration with an anesthesiologist or other healthcare professional to provide safe, cost-effective anesthesia.
